Let's see, then.
The contrabass at the beginning really is dynamic, and sustain the action during the whole song. The piano, strings and brasses are fine, too. No problem, here. However, from 0:40 to 0:55, the trombones are too loud.
Now for the part with the solo violin. The same complaint i had with the other piece. The violin needs more reverb.
The last part is my favorite. Now i feel like things are getting serious. Too bad it ends so soon.
I think i said everything, now. I prefer this piece over Passing of Rites. Keep up your great work !

First of all, i would like to apologize for the delay. I did received your PM, but well, my computer was broken down, and i was busy and all that jazz.
Let's see, then.
As stated MaestroRage, the violins really are heart-breaking. They could have been introduced less suddenly, though. You know, make kind of a fade-in of the violins. Also, i think a little more reverb on the solo violin wouldn't hurt, too.
Nothing to say about the piano, though. The moment it comes in really take one's heart, without even breaking the action.
The ending could have used more reverb, too. It's always cool when the instruments keep on sounding when the piece ends.
That's all i can think at the moment. Still a great piece . Keep 'em coming, dude !

The first part, from the beginning, to 0:20 is by far my favorite part. It really has a war feel, and the crescendo makes feel like the clash is really near. When it suddenly stops. Altough i would have done the said "clash", the theme change is well mastered. Not sudden, the action still goes on.
I have a little complaint for the following part, with that flute (unless it's a piccolo), though. I would have chosen another instrument. I believe a good clarinet would have been good, too.
I'll pass the other parts, as they work pretty fine for me. So i'll skip to the ending.
I really love the ending, and these high pitched notes makes me feel like this isn't finished. Kind of a "to be continued" feel, you see.
In conclusion, this piece really is amazing. Personnal opinions put apart, everything is really fine (especially the drums, varied and dynamic).
Keep them coming, buddy !
